The outbreak of COVID-19 has transformed the way businesses are run globally. What changes in terms of leadership did you witness at Datamatics?

The COVID-19 was a challenging time that the world has never faced before. I take pride that the Datamatics team successfully steered the organization out of the situation. With the sudden lockdown, our IT Services & BPM team faced several challenges in delivering critical services to keep the client’s business up and running. The Datamatics team collaborated closely to ensure that all our employees are safe and transition smoothly to a WFH set-up. Emergency Response Team (ERT) has been set up to monitor the situation on the ground and address employee concerns. At the same time, we remained committed to our customers and partners. Our employees worked round the clock, supporting the clients and ensuring there is no fall-back. Our customer-facing team actively engaged with the client to understand their business priorities & re-align the services accordingly.

We lost some of our valuable employees to the pandemic. However, the Leadership and HR firmly stood with their families and ensured that they bounced back with strong HR support and measures that were always a part of the organization’s fiber.

Amid the Pandemic, technology is driving the operations of a majority of firms. How are emerging tech like Artificial Intelligence, Automation helping you level up?

Automation & AI are rapidly growing markets, and the pandemic has further accelerated the automation journey for many enterprises. Globally many enterprises were leveraging RPA and AI / ML in certain areas to improve productivity. However, as the pandemic disrupted the supply chain and its operations, many realized that they are still at an initial digitization stage. Until and unless they ramp up, adopt digitalization faster, their business may be at stake. In a dynamic world, where you see a new set of challenges every other day, technology can be your most significant enabler.

Datamatics has been using automation in process-intensive areas for the last many years. Our intelligent automation suite of products – TruBot, TruCap+, TruBI, to TruAI-has evolved from our traditional BPM services. Our strong background in IT Services coupled with our strong services back makes us a partner of choice for enterprises in their digital transformation journey.
