NASHIK: Around five industries will hire 256 employees in a job fair to be held in the College of Polytechnic of Krantiveer Vasantrao Naik Education Society in Canada Corner on Monday.
The office of the Nashik District Employment and Self-Employment Guidance Centre has organized the fair
to provide opportunities to graduates, those with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) degrees and higher secondary certificate (HSC) pass-outs in the district.
Youths who have registered on the website of the employment guidance centre may appear for the interviews in the job fair.
The five industries that will hire candidates include the Sinnar unit of Mylan Laboratories Ltd, the Gonde unit of Shalimar Paints, the Mumbai Naka unit of Datamatics Global Centre, the Baramati unit of Piaggio Vehicles Ltd and Shahapur unit of Western Refrigeration Limited said sources from the office of the district employment and self-employment guidance centre.
A total of 140 trainees are to be recruited in Sinnar unit of Mylan Laboratories Ltd. This includes 50 posts of trainee graduates (any subject), 50 posts of trainee mechanical and electrical diploma holders and 40 posts of trainee higher secondary certificate (HSC) or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) degree holders.
Six posts of trainee electricians are to be filled in the Gonde unit of Shalimar Paints. The trainees are supposed to have an ITI degree.
Forty business process outsourcing (BPO) trainees (taxation) are to be hired by Datamatics Global Centre, Mumbai Naka. A graduate degree in commerce is required for the job.
Fifty trainees are to be recruited in the Baramati unit of Piaggio Vehicles Ltd. Candidates must have the ITI qualification of a fitter or welder.
Twenty ITI trainees (fitters) are to be recruited in Shapur unit of Wester Refrigeration Ltd.
