Datamatics Global Services Wins Global HR Strategy Award, Dr. C. M. Dwivedi receives Most Powerful HR Professional, HR Leadership Awards

Mumbai, July 27, 2010: Datamatics Global Services Limited (BSE: 532528; NSE: DATAMATICS), provider of smart, next-generation solutions using Artificial Intelligence that address the business challenges of customers globally, has won the Global HR Strategy Award. Also, Dr. C. M. Dwivedi, President and Global HR Head, Datamatics Global Services, received the Most Powerful HR Professionals of India and HR Leadership Awards. The Awards were presented at Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards 2010 held on 23 July at Singapore.

The Awards are particularly remarkable as there were over 29,000 entries from 35 countries, and competition included LG, Microsoft, Infosys, ICICI, IBM, GE, Google, Yahoo!, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Sun Microsystems and Cisco.

Dr. Dwivedi said, "Datamatics is a global company. Our HR strategy and individual competencies are aligned to the business strategy. We have been using technology extensively for HR intervention. Also, the organization treats the employee as the employer and customer following our Values: 'customer first' and 'respect for the individual'. All these factors led to our winning the awards."

The glittering award presentation ceremony was attended by the who's who of industry, leading industrialists and representatives of the governments of Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India.

The Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards are researched by the Employer Branding Institute and Stars of the Industry Group. The awards were presented by Bhaskar Chatterjee (IAS), Secretary to the Goverment of India, Department of Public Enterprises & Chairman, World HRD Congress, and H. M. Nerurkar, MD and CEO, Tata Steel (India and South East Asia).
