Datamatics Receives ‘The Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices Award’

Mumbai, March 4, 2014: Datamatics Global Services Limited (DGSL) announced that they have received the award for “Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices” at the recently held Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Awards in Mumbai. The Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Awards is a platform for recognizing the best practices in Corporate Social Responsibility and Datamatics won this award for the stellar work they have been doing in empowering women and the differently-abled through employability and adopting environment-friendly business practices among other things.

The prestigious award, which was endorsed by World CSR Day, Asian Confederation of Business and World Federation of CSR Professionals; saw companies like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Tata Steel, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Essar Group among the others competing for the honours. This goes to say how Datamatics has woven the practice of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into its working fabric. The CSR initiative of the company is driven through ASHA, a team led by the senior management with specific scalable targets in the fields of employability and environmentally sustainable development.

Speaking on the subject, Rahul Kanodia – Vice Chairman & CEO – DGSL said, “We are very proud to have won this accolade.
