Datamatics Global Services announces Q3 FY17 financial results

  • Consolidated Net Sales up by 7.0% (YoY) at Rs. 637.6 crore
  • EBIDTA up by 49.3% to Rs. 71.9 crore
  • Net Profit increased by 95% to Rs. 50.9 crore
Mumbai, February 14, 2017: Datamatics Global Services Ltd. (DGSL), a global provider of Consulting, Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services today announced the financial results for the third quarter ended as on December 31, 2016.

Q3FY17 Performance – Consolidated basis (YoY)

  • The Company’s revenues increased by 7.0% to Rs. 637.6 crore as compared to Rs. 595.9 crore in YTD December 2015.
  • EBIDTA increased by 49.3% to Rs. 71.9 crore as compared to Rs. 48.2 crore in YTD December 2015.
  • EBIDTA margin improved by 320 bps to 11.3% as compared to 8.1% in YTD December 2015.
  • Net profit after minority interest also increased by 95.0% at Rs. 50.9 crore as compared to Rs. 26.1 crore during YTD December 2015.
  • Earnings per share (diluted) stood at Rs. 8.64 during YTD December 2016 as compared to Rs. 4.26 during YTD December 2015.
Q3FY17 Performance – Standalone basis (QoQ)
  • The Company’s revenues increased by 8.0% to Rs. 215.4 crore as compared to Rs. 199.5 crore in Q3 FY16.
  • EBIDTA increased by 15.5% to Rs. 22.3 crore as compared to Rs. 19.3 crore in Q3 FY16.
  • EBIDTA margin improved by 67 bps to 10.4% as compared to 9.7% in Q3 FY16.
  • Net profit after minority interest also increased by 11.0% at Rs. 13.1 crore as compared to Rs. 11.8 crore during Q3 FY16.
  • Earnings per share (diluted) stood at Rs. 2.21 during Q3 FY17 as compared to Rs. 1.88 during Q3 FY16.

Datamatics was recognized with the CIO CHOICE 2017 Honor & Recognition title in 3 categories by the Indian CIO and IT decision maker community for our services and solutions that leverage our IPs – iQ, nSights and iBridge under the Document Management, Business Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation categories respectively.

It was for the second consecutive year that Datamatics received recognition for Document Management Services & Business Intelligence Solution by the CIO Community. This year, Datamatics also established its leadership position in the Emergent Technology category for Robotic Process Automation Solutions.
