The client faced a significant challenge in managing a vast volume of unstructured data. They needed to collect and process response data for a complex questionnaire across 467 constituencies in 35 centers, with two versions of the questionnaire in each center. This amounted to 7.5 million documents in 22 Indian languages across various states. The scale and variety of the data made aggregation and analysis incredibly difficult.
Key executives, including the CIO, were deeply concerned about the inefficiencies of manually handling such a massive dataset. The CIO was particularly worried about the risk of errors in the data, which could compromise the quality of insights.
