Datamatics Hosts Agile Testing Alliance Meet

Mumbai, April 29, 2017: Datamatics organized the 16th ATA Meetup at its headquarters on 29th April, 2017. Mr Sachin Rane (Sr. Vice President, Head Software Solutions, Datamatics) delivered the key note address. Also, Mr. Hemant Khalnokar (Sr. Testing Manager) gave a demonstration on the Robotic Test Automation framework (Datamatics’ intellectual property) to the attendees. 

Agile Testing Alliance (ATA) is a non-profit testing community, created to grow agile testing awareness, practices, and acceptance at the ground level. It promotes self/shared learning, problem solving, and helps innovate in the agile testing space.

The ATA Mumbai Chapter was inaugurated at the Datamatics head office on Saturday, 28th September 2013!  Testing enthusiasts from various organizations across Mumbai took part. Mr. Sachin Rane (Sr. Vice President, Head Software Solutions) from Datamatics was invited as the chief guest and did the honors.

Datamatics Global Services Limited is one of the various organizations that has been actively supporting ATA activities over the years. Mr. Manoranjan Das, Sr. Test Manager from Datamatics is part of the core committee at the ATA Mumbai Chapter and has been involved in various related activities. Moreover, associates from the ‘Datamatics IT Solutions’ team have been actively participating in conferences organized by ATA. 

ATA’s Mission:

  • To build agile testing awareness, practices, and acceptance. 
  • To create a learning roadmap specifically in the agile testing space.
  • To identify milestones that can be evaluated, certified,  and thus, recognized.

The Advisory Council of Agile Testing Alliance consists of some of the great minds from the industry and academia. ATA is present globally - North America, Chile and other South American nations, South Africa, United Kingdom, Malaysia, and India. Apart from the Mumbai Chapter, ATA has few more Chapters in India at Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, and Delhi.
