The client was utilizing legacy applications for commercial label (assets) management which was a significant revenue line for them.

Negligible documentation around business process and technical architecture posed several challenges in upgrading/modernizing the application without risking revenue loss.

The client sought Datamatics Advisory to perform a detailed current state assessment and provide recommendations on the ‘To Be’ process flows & Optimal technological architecture.


Datamatics team of consultants conducted a detailed study of business processes within the scope that were largely undocumented.

Close interaction with the SME’s and process owners were needed to understand the current i.e. ‘AS-IS’ business processes covering Finance, Procurement, HR and Travel Process.

Based on the understanding developed from stakeholder interactions, Datamatics consultants detailed 20+ scenarios and designed an all-encompassing ‘TO-BE’ operating model.

The processes were also re-engineered for increasing efficiency and productivity improvements.
