Datamatics developed a multi-platform ride sharing mobile app for iOS and Android OS platforms to connect riders with passengers.
The app enabled the admin to manage users and payments. It also helped the vehicle owners to revise the fare on the basis of their vehicle and enabled the vehicle owners to accept or decline the ride.
The app enabled the customers to call or chat with the driver and also had a live tracking feature to track the location of the vehicle on real-time basis.
The animation feature on maps to track the vehicle location in real time provided an intuitive user experience
Offline caching to save coordinates and routes helped to decrease the number of calls made to Google APIs, thus reducing costs
