The absence of an information management system led to data loss, error-prone processes, prolonged TAT, etc. The source of information was scattered across different channels, tools, and repositories that had to be consolidated before putting to use.
Lack of a system that enables the end-user to independently develop and maintain their own information and improve processes. The client wanted to consolidate documents of size 4TB from siloed sources like drives, emails google docs and manage them with a document management system to streamline access.
Datamatics conducted an on-site assessment of the content to study content generation life cycle and business processes, and identify unique and common requirements to derive governance guidelines, recommendations for Taxonomy, Site Structure, and road map to implement governance.
Datamatics also set up centralized content repositories and taxonomy on O365 and filtered the collaborative documents based on business rules, migrated filtered content along with metadata in batches while making sure the data is verified.
