The pandemic saw mass adoption of Remote Proctoring by universities and organization alike to take assessments from remote locations while ensuring the integrity of the exam. While Remote Proctoring as a concept launched way back in 2007, technologies and growth around it have evolved over time. In many ways, it came of age during the pandemic in terms of its span & scope. It was imperative for educational institutes, universities and organizations to jump in and adapt to a scalable, time and cost-effective solution for their examinations and assessments.

However, with the pandemic on the decline and the world going back to old ways of functioning, we are seeing high-stake exams going back to offline testing, even as mid or low stake exams continue to remain online.
