Datamatics Limited signed a multi-year, multi-million pound agreement with BUPA, a not-for-profit organization in the health and care market, to set up a Global Development Service Center in Mumbai, India.
The agreement, which encompasses application development, maintenance and support services, was signed by Mr. John Lister, Global Chief Information Officer, BUPA, and Dr. Lalit Kanodia, Chairman, Datamatics. Mr Lister said, BUPA has confidence in Datamatics and this contract builds upon our existing long-term relationship with them. Mr Lister added that a focus on quality, customer satisfaction and previous successes were instrumental in the signing of this contract between BUPA and Datamatics.
Dr Kanodia said, At Datamatics we believe that we have been able to reduce BUPA s costs on a like-forlike basis over 35% on key projects we have been involved in, through our engagement in the application development and by providing maintenance and support services to BUPA across the world for over six years now. Datamatics has also delivered value to BUPA in terms of improved quality and customer responsiveness. Dr Kanodia also said, Both the BUPA and Datamatics teams are the best of the best. "The team strength for the Centre is expected to further grow by nearly 30 percent by December 2006. Datamatics management will introduce a number of processes to help the team as well as to add value.
