Datamatics Global Technologies, Devoteam Danet Collaborate to Bring to Market Cutting-edge Business Support Solutions

  • The collaboration leverages joint service offerings of both Datamatics Global Technologies and Devoteam Danet to provide end-to-end integration of business processes, higher efficiency and productivity.
  • Offering will increase focus on spectrum of business processes – from order entry to payment, and can extend beyond the telecommunications and utilities market segment to encompass any organization where billing and payment reconciliation occur.

16 October 2009, Mumbai: Datamatics Global Technologies GmbH, global provider of intelligent, value-driven technology and business solutions today announced a strategic partnership with Devoteam Danet GmbH, a leading independent IT consulting company to bring to market cutting-edge business support system (BSS) solutions.

The collaboration will leverage each organization's services portfolio and strengthen their market position in that domain. The new offerings as a result of the collaboration will focus on the entire spectrum of business processes – from order entry to payment collection.

A major benefit of the partnership for the target market of telecommunications and utilities organizations is that they will now enjoy the benefits of enhancing customer experience, higher efficiency and productivity. The cutting-edge technology and wider solution spectrum will allow an end-to-end integration of business processes. Currently, the industry is facing the challenges of disparate systems being in islands with limited or no interoperability.

Devoteam Danet brings a number of independent business solutions – “Accelerators for BSS” into the business partnership. These support and automate the individual business processes from order to cash for telecommunications operators and utility organizations such as integrated service delivery, billing and settlement, mediation, and output management.

Datamatics Global Technologies shall contribute its full design and development capabilities, as also support and maintenance of the business support and other IT systems deployed in Telecoms operations. Furthermore, Datamatics Global Technologies brings in its expertise in document management solutions for the settlement of the business process “Procure to Pay".

Datamatics Global Technologies will bring the BSS product development ahead while Devoteam Danet will be providing consultancy to the clients on site, integrating the systems and offering the relevant professional services. Thus, the two business partners will be in a position to fully concentrate on their core businesses, and to jointly extend the BSS solutions into new markets. In addition to the telecommunications and utilities business segments, industry-specific solutions are being developed for segments like the financial services, media or any organization where billing and payment reconciliation occurs in high volumes.

Through the partnership, the BSS solutions will be marketed globally.
