One of the largest banking group in South East Asia, and is among the top 100 banks in the world. With more than 10,000 employees, it provides comprehensive banking services to more than 5 million customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
Business Needs & Challenges
The customer wanted to transition from an existing CRM application to Siebel CRM. The existing application stored data in three different locations resulting in duplication. The engagement called for integration of multiple legacy applications and implementation of new Siebel CRM package covering 17 divisions for more than 1500 users. The customer decided to collaborate with Datamatics for the Siebel implementation.
Datamatics Solution
Datamatics implemented the Siebel package in two phases. The main modules included Contact Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Activity and Calendar Management, Campaign Management, Product and Literature Management. The team was involved in EIM, configuration and report writing using Actuate Workbench. The team worked extensively on configuration of picklists, user properties settings, analyzing designs, building and testing screen configurations and application extensions. The project team wrote business services and scripts to integrate various external applications with Siebel.
